Why Quality Grading Matters
Not all vegetables from a harvest are equal. Some are perfect, some have minor blemishes, and some are only suitable for processing. Understanding this helps you know what you're getting — and why SabjiWalla can promise consistent quality.
Grade A — What You Receive
Grade A vegetables are the top 60–70% of any harvest: uniform size, no blemishes, vibrant colour, firm texture, and ideal ripeness for eating within 3–5 days. These are what you receive in every SabjiWalla order.
Grade B — Also Delivered
Grade B vegetables have minor surface imperfections but identical nutritional value and taste. Slightly smaller sizes or minor markings don't affect quality. These are also included in deliveries — and often taste just as good as Grade A.
Grade C — Never Delivered
Grade C vegetables have significant blemishes, irregular shapes, or early signs of spoilage. We sell these to food processors. They never reach customer orders.
